native of Chicago (formerly the kind of native that runs around in a loincloth),
Mr. Black has invested a wolloping amount of time in creating his creative
works of creation, such as his novel, The
Heirs of Proteus, several screenplays, and a poem that won him a chocolate
medal in high school, entitled, "Am I Speaking Swahili?" He has
invested maybe a couple of hours in the comic you have read/are reading/avoiding
like the plague. He lives in a northwest suburb of chitown, and yes, that
means he has to put up with north shore brats every day he heads out on
his badass mountainbike for his daily adventure into the world; during his
multiple mile, daily trek, he ponders funny material and keeps his eyes
open for inspiration to hit him...or a mailbox, if he's not paying attention
